Permanent exhibition

The lower Engadine is an alpine region characterized by agriculture. It is largely connected to an original farming community.

On an tour of the beautiful house, the visitor is transported back to a time when there were no engines. The Engadine has become prosperous as a transit valley and through tourism.

The original inhabitants of the lower Engadine were self-sufficient. Most of the objects and tools that were needed in agricultures and for living were self-made.

Our permanent exhibition is dedicated to this life without electricity and motors.

Put yourself back in time and admire the wonderful ambience of the individual rooms.
